Nearly one in three homeless men in the US is a veteran of the armed forces. We at Eagle House are committed to helping end homelessness for veterans. Eagle House LLC offers community based transitional housing created for and dedicated to the men of honor who have served in our armed forces. This program for many will be the first step out of the cycle of homelessness.
Eagle house provides a safe, supportive, and stable environment that will allow veterans the opportunity to receive the necessary services to reintegrate back into civilian life. There are well furnished room and board, quality meals, productive life skills, and other necessary personnel services to facilitate each individual resident. We understand that every need is different and every plan should be specific to the client’s needs. It is our goal to help maximize each veteran’s mental and physical health, resiliency, and overall functioning capabilities.
Objectives:
- Develop an individualized service / treatment plan for each resident
- Increase job skills and training
- Improve income stability
- Financial literacy
- Assist each resident to secure permanent housing and achieve self-sufficiency
